Back by popular demand! Designers and IPs – your most exciting creative challenge is here! The Interior Design “Escape Room” Mixer is back and headed to Huntington Beach, July 15!
The mission is simple! You and your team will solve clues to help a frantic assistant find the perfect custom artwork for her client. But you only have one hour to do it! Crack codes, sip drinks, and connect with fellow design pros in this unique, interactive adventure crafted by the decorative artists at Hattas Studios. Up for the challenge? Grab your tickets!
Who are we? Hattas Studios is a professional team of artists who create custom murals and artwork inspired by you! We’re excited to bring you this unique networking experience, where everyone works together to solve an art mystery, while also learning about what’s possible in the world of custom art. Everyone at the event is on the same team. And don’t worry … there will be no locks on the doors!

A PEAK INTO THE EVENT!

Premier Event with ASID Pasadena, at Cisco Home
Hattas Studios and ASID hosted the first Escape Room Mixer in May 2025, where we welcomed interior designers and industry partners. We transformed Cisco Home’s showroom into an immersive game, where players had to search for clues and solve puzzles to select, unlock and hang the perfect artworks for a picky and cryptic client.
The showroom was divided into 5 “rooms” of a house, including a foyer, living room, dining room, bedroom and bathroom. With several custom-art designs to choose from, the groups had to pick the most appropriate pieces for the clients, before they returned home, in just 1 hour.
The game was a great success! Not only was the event fun, challenging and interactive, but everyone was a winner … completing the escape room in under an hour!
The Hattas Studios team had a great time creating this unique experience filled with creative art- and interior-design-related puzzles. In addition to creating games, the team also created 32 original artwork designs to fill the miniature dollhouse. Each design was inspired by the imaginary client, with murals based on their travels, artworks drawn from their family, sculptures inspired by their favorite stories, faux finishes coordinated to their style, and custom wallpaper made specifically to their taste.
Our team is thrilled to be bringing the game to ASID Orange County, at Pacific Sales in Huntington Beach, July 15, 2025!
And next, we’ll be hosting with ASID Los Angeles, August 23, 2025!
