“The Enchanted Nook” by Hattas Studios
Pasadena Showcase 2026

Hattas Studios is a custom art and mural painting company dedicated to transforming spaces through original, hand-painted design. For over 23 years, we have collaborated with homeowners, businesses, and cities to bring creative visions to life, resulting in nearly 10,000 one-of-a-kind works of art. Every project is fully customizable, giving our clients complete control over the story and theme, color palette, scale and artistic style. Our role is to listen, interpret, and execute—turning ideas into immersive, meaningful environments that elevate the spaces where they live, work and gather.

At the Pasadena Showcase House of Design 2026, Hattas Studios presents “The Enchanted Nook,” a fully immersive experience that transforms a small closet into a magical forest escape. Every surface is covered in hand-painted murals featuring nine fairy tale vignettes, inviting visitors to step inside beloved childhood stories. The cottage windows glow and interactive lanterns trigger narrated tales, complete with music and sound effects, creating a rich sensory experience. Guests are encouraged to settle into a plush, furry chair, gaze up at a floral night sky, and lose themselves in the storytelling, while completely surrounded by original artwork designed to spark nostalgia and imagination.
