Hattas Studios is a team of professional artists who collaborate with clients to express their visions. For over 20 years, Hattas has created thousands of custom-designed, hand-painted murals, artworks, faux finishing, sculptures, painted signage and custom-designed wallpaper for commercial, residential and municipal spaces in Greater Los Angeles and beyond. We can realize your design, or create an original design specific to your needs. Everyone on our team is employed, ensuring high standards, reliable service and smooth execution.

With over 20 years of experience and nearly 5,000 custom art projects under our belt, Hattas Studios breaks every negative artist stereotype. We are a small company that executes with the expertise and efficiency of a large contractor. 

How do we do it? We have full-time experts focused on the unique roles needed to deliver custom artwork accurately, on-time and on-budget. As a one-stop shop, we provide art consultations, custom designs, prep work and finishing work; and fully supervised execution from start to finish.

We use tried-and-true transfer methods to ensure the final artwork is exactly as expected, with no “wonky” surprises. And since we’re AB5-compliant, our entire team is employed (no contractors), leading to reliable services, efficient delivery and clear communication. After all, we aren’t satisfied until we’ve exceeded our clients’ expectations.

Seneca Trattoria Restaurant & The Reading Club (San Diego, CA)

• Eleven (11) murals; 2000 ft2

• Designed & painted large vintage-style murals for high-end restaurant & private club.

Sugarbug Dental (Camarillo, CA)

• Six (6) murals; 5,000 ft2

• Painted all walls in a dental office with elaborate murals, including converging lines, leaves, insects & optical illusions

Durango Resort & Casino (Las Vegas, NV); and Yaamava Resorts & Casinos (Highland, CA)

• Three (3) murals & gilding; 2600 ft2

• Designed & painted historic local landscape mural on canvas; magnolias& vines on two-story ceiling; three giant gilded alcoves with painted banana leaves for high-end casino bar/restaurants

CA Trail Interpretive Center (Elko, NV)

• Six (6) murals; 1800 ft2

• Researched, designed & painted historical murals for a history museum, including the story of local Indigenous Nations affected by the California Trail, & Chinese immigrants on the first transcontinental railroad

Two Bit Circus Virtual Reality Arcade (Los Angeles, CA)

• Ten (10) areas of murals, faux finishes & painted signage; 10,000 ft2

• Painted all walls of warehouse-sized arcade, including colorful geometric murals; faux-painted wood, concrete & metal; trompe l’oeil door illusions; painted signage; & giant painted logo on concrete floor entrance
